REGISTRATION TIMELINE

This timeline lists the tools students must use at various time periods to register or make changes to registered classes. See the term'sÌýAcademic CalendarÌýfor Free Drop/Add and the Registration Change deadlines.

Students with a hold on their academic record affecting enrollmentÌýmay not use WebReg or process a Course Permit form. Access yourÌý91Ô´´ Student HomepageÌý>ÌýHolds & To Do ListÌýtile > HoldsÌýmenu item for an explanation.

When can I register?

The Academic CalendarÌýlists all important dates regarding class registration.ÌýRegistration for theÌýFall, Winter Session, Spring, and Summer terms occur at scheduled times.ÌýÌý

The Academic Calendar notes the date registration appointments begin. ÌýStudents are assigned hourly appointments, prioritized by student classification and earned credits – including test and transfer credit, so that students with (generally) the fewest remaining options are eligible to register first. Registration appointments are spread over several days. Students can view their individual appointment time in their My 91Ô´´ Student Homepage. For more information about checking your appointment time, please see the Class Registration page.Ìý

Ìý

Early Registration (by appointment)

Degree-seeking students receive Registration Appointments approximately 10 days before registration begins. The appointment day/time signals when you may FIRST BEGIN registration for the term. Students can continue to revise their class schedules through the end of the free drop/add period without charge or penalty.

Open EnrollmentÌý(called theÌýFree Drop/AddÌýperiod)

This period follows appointment dates and runs through theÌýTenth Day of Spring and FallÌýsemesters or theÌýFourth Day of Winter or Summer.

Students can make changes to their class schedules during this time without charge or penalty.

Professional & Continuing Education registration begins

Day following end ofÌýFree Drop/AddÌýthrough theÌýRegistration Change Deadline

During this time, class withdrawals incur a processing fee, a grade of "W" on the student's record and tuition is charged (no refunds).

After theÌýRegistration Change Deadline, class withdrawals must be approved by your Student Services Assistant Dean's Office.
