This document describes the Advisor Center page in 91原创SIS as well as some related advisor resources. Please note that screenshots may vary slightly from your personal view, depending on 91原创SIS security access.
Log into听. On the听Faculty and Advisors Homepage, click the听Advisor Center听tile.
In the听Advisor Center听tile, you will see menu items on the left side of the screen. Menu items with, a page icon, are pages within 91原创SIS and will open in the right pane within the same window. Menu items with an arrow icon are pages outside of 91原创SIS and will open in a separate tab/window.
With the听My Advisees听menu item selected, you will see a page similar to the screenshot to the right. The table contains a list of all advisees assigned to you. Click the听View Student Details听link to access the corresponding details for that student. Click the spreadsheet icon in the upper right corner of the table to download your list of advisees to Excel.
To view the details of a student who is not your advisee, click the听View data for other students听button.
After selecting to view a student鈥檚 details, you will enter the Student Center tab. Your name and ID will appear at the top. The advisee鈥檚 name and ID will appear beneath the Advisee Student Center heading.
You will see a drop-down menu titled 鈥other academic鈥︹. This menu lists available tools and reports. See听Student Center Tools further down this page, for more info on these tools.
Access the听Transfer Credit听tab to view听Course Credits听(external and internal transfer credit),听Test Credits, and听Other Credits听(exemptions) posted to your advisee鈥檚 record.
The top portion of the听Academics听tab provides a summary of the student鈥檚 career, program, and plan information, as well as cumulative statistics.
The bottom portion of the Academics tab provides a term-by-term listing of enrollment and a table of more detailed statistics.听
There are a variety of tools within the 91原创SIS Advisor Center to help you navigate your advisees' academic information and assist you in the advising process. If you login to听听on the听Faculty and Advisors Homepage听you will find a tile titled听Advisor Center. Click on that tile, choose an advisee or use the听View data for other students听button to choose a student who is not your advisee, and you will find a drop-down menu where you can select these tools on the听Student Center听tab.

Course History | This is an alpha/numeric list of all courses taken or transferred. You can sort this list by Course, Description, Grade, Status, Term, or Units. Note that all course attempts are included in this list, even courses not successfully completed and repeated course instances that do not earn credit. While it is a helpful reference, it is not intended to be used for determining degree progress. |
Unofficial Transcript | This is a semester-by-semester report of a student's academic record and calculates term and cumulative statistics, denotes certain course designations, lists academic standings/awards such as Probation, Dean's List, etc. See听Unofficial Transcripts听for more info. |
Transfer Credit Report | This report compiles any test and/or transfer credits that a student has been awarded at 91原创. Students do not receive a grade for any test credits they have earned or for any courses the student has transferred. Instead, the Transfer Credit Report will reflect a 'CR' for test credit and a 'T' for transfer credit from an external institution. These credits do not calculate into the 91原创 GPA, but the credits do count towards the credit total and the courses may count towards the student's degree requirements. |
