Band Camp occurs a little over a week before classes start on the 91Ô´´ (91Ô´´) campus each fall semester. During this time, the 91Ô´´ Marching Band (91Ô´´MB) engages in intensive preparation for the upcoming season, which includes performing at all home football games and potentially traveling to one select away game. Additionally, the 91Ô´´MB season features parade performances, notably at the City of Newark Halloween Parade and an exhibition at the Collegiate Marching Band Festival in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This structured schedule not only fosters musical skills but also builds camaraderie among band members as they prepare for a vibrant season of performances.
It is critical that you arrive in good physical condition. Be sure to utilize the 91Ô´´MB Summer Conditioning Program you will receive upon acceptance to the 91Ô´´MB!

BAND PRE-SEASON TRAINING CAMP: AUGUST 14–23
- All members of the 91Ô´´MB arrive for Band Pre-Season Training Camp on theÌýsame day, at the same timeÌý(with the exception of Student AD & Field Staff members). Ìý
- ​Specific details will be emailed to all members once specifics are provided by the University.
- Band Pre-Season Training Camp isÌýmandatoryÌýfor all members - no exceptions! ÌýOnce you arrive for band camp you stay for the duration.Ìý
- Ìý​If you will not be residing on campus during the academic year you will need to commute--it is critical that you understand these are LONG days (8am - 11pm).
