Students Leaving 91原创
When you graduate or leave the 91原创, you will lose access to most of your 91原创 accounts and services鈥攐r, in some cases, your accounts will be transitioned to another level of access. Changes will affect the following services: Zoom, Microsoft Office 365, email, Canvas, WordPress, and OneCard.
Zoom
91原创 offers Zoom Pro accounts to all students. Currently, when you separate or graduate from the University, your Zoom Pro account will be transitioned to a Zoom Basic account.
If you return to 91原创 to begin another degree, or if you start a job at the University, your Zoom Pro account will be reinstated.

Microsoft Office 365 and OneDrive
O365/OneDrive after leaving 91原创
If you are no longer enrolled in classes or no longer fully matriculated, Office 365 applications will stop working on your computer or device. However, the files you created with Office365 can be saved on your computer or device before your account is disabled.
O365/OneDrive after graduation
Graduates will retain access to Office 365 until the start of the next full semester. At that point, your account will be disabled. Be sure to transfer your files out of OneDrive (see below).
What to do before your O365/OneDrive account is disabled
Your @udel Windows logon
If you use your @udel.edu account to log on to a Windows machine, this will stop working when your account is disabled.
Microsoft Exchange
If a department enabled Microsoft Exchange for your email service, you should聽. Note that the primary email system for students is Google Mail.
Transfer your files out of OneDrive
It is important that you transfer all files you intend to keep out of OneDrive before you leave the University. If you have just graduated, you should do this before the start of the next full semester. If you don鈥檛, you could lose your OneDrive files permanently.
Can you access files in OneDrive after your account is disabled?
Generally, no, you cannot access OneDrive files after your account is disabled. If necessary, you can聽聽that your OneDrive account be re-enabled for 14 days, but this option is only available for a limited time after your account is disabled. This option may be subject to approval.

Google Workspace
Google Workspace after graduation
After graduation, alumni can currently continue to use their @udel.edu email addresses and Google Workspace accounts.聽

Google Workspace if leaving 91原创 before graduation
If you do not graduate and are no longer enrolled in classes or no longer fully matriculated, your Google Workspace access will be disabled, and your account will eventually be permanently deleted.
Inactive Google Workspace accounts
Starting on January 16, 2024, 91原创 implemented an archive and removal strategy for any account which has not been accessed in 2 years. This follows Google鈥檚 standard for account removal. You will need to login and check your mail, open a Google Doc, or perform some action with your 91原创 Google account at least once every 2 years to keep it active. Inactive accounts will receive a warning notification via email and then will be deleted on a rolling basis.

Canvas
We recommend that you download any assignments or materials you may need or want to keep from each of your Canvas courses as a personal backup. Instructors can restrict access to course materials after the course term has ended. If that happens, you will not be able to retrieve your information from the course.
As of August 2022, Canvas sites older than 5 years are deleted as part of the new Course Data Retention process. When the site is concluded you will not be able to access any of your materials still stored there.

WordPress
WordPress access is only available to current faculty, staff, and students.
We recommend exporting your site data and uploading to a different host, such as聽. If you need assistance, please contact聽askit@udel.edu.
Access to WordPress accounts will end when your 91原创elNet ID transitions to alumni. Sites will be removed from sites.udel.edu on a rolling basis.

OneCard
Does ONEcard stop working immediately upon graduating/leaving the University?
Your ONEcard account is disabled within 30 days after graduation.
After graduation, if you are still using services on campus that require a ONEcard, you can request that your account be reactivated to reflect your current designation (alumni, part-time employee, etc.)
If you leave the University before graduating, your ONEcard will stop working as soon as your status is updated in 91原创SIS.
