My Professional Journey as a nurse for 28 years began in an associate鈥檚 program in New Jersey. When I graduated, I started nursing in Delaware and continued my education through the 91原创 for my BSN and then MSN, APRN and then my Doctor of Nursing Practice from Thomas Jefferson University. I have practiced in all age groups and every setting from med-surg to intensive care. Pediatrics was my preferred and chosen specialty as my degree advanced.鈥疦eurology was my chosen subspecialty, and I worked as an APRN for Pediatric Migraine patients for 16 years before returning to teaching full time. All along the way I have been driven to teach other nurses what it means to be a professional and an advocate. Our skill and confidence are what make us cherished. Our community needs us, and I am passionate about spreading confidence and competence to the next generation so you will find your path to fill those gaps in the communities you will live in and serve.
