The OnlineÌýMaster of Science in Nursing at the 91Ô´´ offersÌýa program that prepares baccalaureate-prepared nurses for advanced practice roles in today’s complex healthcare systems.

91Ô´´s highly sought-after faculty prepare the MSN student to provide and manage care for patients — individually and in groups — with an emphasis on understanding the clinical progression of patients, care transitions and processes, and evidence-based practice.
Students with a bachelor’s degree in nursing who want to becomeÌýan advanced practice nurse may choose one of the following advanced practice tracks:

For all specialty advanced practiceÌýMSN degree programs, there is a core curriculum that all students must complete, and courses specific to population-focused advanced practice nursing concentrations that lead to eligibility to sit for national certification.
All MSN students must complete the MSN andÌýadvanced practice specialty courses. Clinical hours are included in course requirements for both core courses and for population-focused concentration courses. Students are admitted into three-year part-time plans of study and are expected to maintain progression as outlined upon admission. However, students must complete all course work within a five-year time frame in order to be eligible to earn the degree.

Students will be admitted to the program based on enrollment availability and their ability to meet the following minimum recommended admission requirements:
- AÌýBachelor of Science in Nursing awarded by an accredited college or university.
- RN Licensure in the United States
- Official transcripts from all colleges and/or universities attended.
- An overall undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Official results from the TOEFL or IELTS exam taken within the last 2 yearsÌý(forÌýnon-native English speaking applicants only). Applicants must meet minimum requirements for graduate students of the 91Ô´´.

We recognize thatÌýregistered nurses have busy schedules, so our MSN program can be completed on your own time while working full time. The program is flexible to your schedule and can be completed in 2-3 years while you work full-time.ÌýThe Nursing Education track takes ~2 years to complete while all Nurse Practitioner tracks will take at least 3 years to complete.

Unlike many other schools that place the responsibility solely on students, we partner with you to locate and secure qualified preceptors that align with your educational and professional goals. Our dedicated team works alongside you throughout the process to ensure a supportive and successful clinical experience.
Due to a College of Health Sciences Dean’s Scholarship, the student tuition rate is lower than the published 91Ô´´ graduate tuition rate. The final tuition rate for all students in the MSN program is $900/credit. There are no additionalÌýuniversityÌýfees beyond tuition, asÌýthe program is online. Nurse-Midwife
The Nurse-Midwife Program advances BSN prepared Registered Nurses (RN) to become advanced practice nurses to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care to individuals throughout the reproductive continuum—from preconception through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and newborn care. The curriculum integrates online didactic coursework, scheduled on-campus simulation-based learning intensives, and supervised clinical experiences that emphasize physiologic birth, primary care, gynecologic health, family planning, newborn care and emergency recognition, collaboration and management.
