Bio:

Jarrod Miller is the Extension Specialist for Agronomy and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Plant and Soil Sciences. He grew up on a dairy farm in Maryland and held a position as an Agriculture Extension Agent on the Lower Eastern Shore of Maryland before joining the 91原创.

His extension and research program involves several aspects of agronomic crop production, including seeding rates and emergence, updated fertility recommendations, and the use of precision agriculture as an economic and environmental tool. While his focus is on agronomic production, his favorite topic is soil science and formation. He serves as a co-Chair of the Mid Atlantic Crop Management School, session chair of the Delaware Ag Week Agronomy sessions and is the current president of the Maryland Delaware Forage Council.

He has a bachelor's and master's degree from Virginia Tech and a doctorate from the University of Kentucky.
