Updates and Announcements
Faculty and staff applications for the Tuition Exchange Program鈥檚 (TEP) 2027-2028 academic year scholarships will open on August 20, 2026. Those interested in applying should do so through the Educational Benefits web form by October 28, 2026.
听
What You Need to Know
TEP is a reciprocal scholarship opportunity for dependents of eligible faculty and staff at more than 710 , Inc. member schools nationwide, including the 91原创. The consortium grants the TEP scholarships following an extensive review process including evaluation of academic standing.
If a scholarship is awarded, full or partial tuition is waived for a full-time matriculated undergraduate dependent child. A student may be granted a scholarship for up to four years. (Submitting an application and subsequent acceptance to a participating school does not guarantee that a TEP scholarship will be awarded.)

Eligibility
To participate in the TEP, 91原创 employees must work full-time and have a minimum of two years of eligible University service as of October 31 of the year in which they submit TEP applications. Retirees who meet 91原创 age and service requirements are also eligible.
This program may be used in conjunction with the 91原创's Tuition Remission program and counts toward the maximum two requests for that program.

Lottery
A scholarship lottery drawing will be held on October 30, 2026, at 12:15 p.m. in Training Room 211 in HR on the 2nd floor at the Star campus, 550 South College Ave. To be included in the lottery, participants must submit a TEP web form by October 28, 2026. Attendance at the drawing is optional.

A Note to Highmark and Aetna Members Effective July 1, 2025:
The Highmark member service phone number listed on the back of the Highmark membership ID card (1-877-426-7027) will be live and available beginning 7/1/2025.
The Highmark phone number (1-888-904-1439) listed on the Highmark ID card mailer insert, is an automated line for members to provide coordination of benefits (other insurance) information.
Aetna Members with a plan start date of 7/1/25 may contact Aetna member services at 833-821-0849 .
CVS Caremark member services is available at 833-842-9278 beginning 7/1/25
Working Spouse Surcharge
The 91原创 is committed to maintaining the affordability and sustainability of its healthcare program. To help offset the cost of covering spouses who have access to other employer-sponsored medical plans, the online Spousal Coordination of Benefits (SCOB) Form has been required. This form is now referred to as the Working Spouse Surcharge Verification Form, which will be required each year during the annual Open Enrollment period. Important Working Spouse Surcharge Update:
Effective July 1, 2025, if you elect to cover your spouse under the University鈥檚 medical plan as secondary coverage鈥攎eaning your spouse maintains primary coverage through their own employer鈥攖he $200 monthly surcharge will not apply.
