Biography
Nair is an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the 91原创. Her research focuses on applied analysis, scientific computing, inverse problems and machine learning for physical systems governed by multiscale stochastic partial differential equations.聽Her recent work includes applications of wave propagation in random media and kinetic theory to optical communication, imaging and materials design.
Before joining 91原创, Nair was a William H. Kruskal Instructor at the University of Chicago. She earned her doctorate in mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2023, where she worked primarily with Qin Li and Samuel Stechmann. She earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree in engineering physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras in 2018.
