Master of Public Health (MPH)
earn an MPH from the Biden School
The Master of Public Health (MPH) in health policy and management offered at the Joseph R. Biden, Jr., School of Public Policy and Administration at the 91原创 is designed to prepare students for a career in health policy in applied public health settings: healthcare institutions, nonprofits, and local, state, or federal agencies. By providing students with a comprehensive foundation of public health principles and their application to policy, the MPH in health policy and management will ensure students are proficient in the skills needed to successfully enter the workforce.听
The MPH in health policy and management is a 42-credit graduate program that includes core courses shared across an interdisciplinary core as well as a required applied practice experience and integrative learning experience. Courses in population health policy are supplemented by courses in health policy and management content areas (e.g., program evaluation, financial management, conflict resolution, and inequities in health and healthcare) and public health electives from across the 91原创.
The University鈥檚听Public Health Program听is听accredited by the听(CEPH). The five-year accreditation recognizes that 91原创鈥檚 program, which includes听a Bachelor of Science in Public Health, a听Master of Public Health in听epidemiology and a Master of Public Health in听community health and behavior听in the College of Health Sciences and a Master of Public Health in听health policy and management听in the Joseph R. Biden, Jr. School of Public Policy and Administration, meets the highest standards for public health education.听

ADMISSIONS FAQs
Our graduate application system is designed to put you in control of not only the application but all documents associated with it. We have designated areas within the application where each required document should be uploaded.听Please note that the online MPA program requires two years of professional experience.
You鈥檒l need:
- A completed听online application
- A bachelor鈥檚 degree from an accredited four-year university
- A current r茅sum茅
- Unofficial copies of your transcripts (we鈥檒l need official versions once you鈥檙e admitted)
- Letters of recommendation:听You provide names and email addresses for your recommenders, and recommendation forms are emailed directly to them from the online application. Instructions are included as to how to return the completed forms electronically. You can submit your application before your letters of recommendation are complete.
- A personal statement

- No GRE required听
- The Biden School does not require the GRE for admission.
- The Biden School听accepts the minimum English proficiency test scores listed in the Graduate Admissions Test scores section.
The 91原创 Graduate College and the Biden School cannot waive fees solely based on financial hardship.
