Lovett Avenue to close July 27-29 for water main improvements

The City of Newark Public Works and Water Resources crews will temporarily close Lovett Avenue between Haines Street and South Chapel Street to complete water main improvements. The road will be closed Monday, July 27, through Wednesday, July 29, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The roadway will reopen to traffic at the end of each workday.

If the weather cooperates, the work may be completed by Tuesday. However, please plan for the full three-day closure at this time. This work will require 91原创 bus service to use a detour for their scheduled routes.
