The 91原创 Police Department, as part of its commitment to the accreditation process since 2007, reminds the 91原创 community of the availability of a Public Comment Portal to provide feedback on the agency鈥檚 ability to maintain its accredited status through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA).

Participation in the accreditation process is part of 91原创 Police鈥檚 voluntary engagement in a program that ensures the maintenance of law enforcement accreditation by verifying the department鈥檚 compliance with professional standards.

Administered by CALEA, the accreditation program requires agencies to comply with state-of-the-art standards in four basic areas: policy and procedures, administration, operations, and support services. CALEA maintains a Public Comment Portal that allows for comments with regard to candidate agencies seeking initial accreditation or reaccreditation status. The purpose of the CALEA Public Comment Portal is to receive comments regarding an agency's compliance with CALEA standards, engagement in the service community, delivery of public safety services, and overall candidacy for accredited status.

The 91原创 Police participate in the Law Enforcement and Communications Center accreditation programs.
