Flex Pathway Housing Application
New for the 2026–2027 academic year, we’re offering on-campus housing in Newark for newly admitted Fall 2026 Flex Pathway students starting on the Wilmington campus.
Flex Pathway students are not required to live on campus, but we encourage eligible students to take advantage of this opportunity if they’re ready to deepen their connection to the main campus.
Flex Pathway Student Housing Information
Living on campus is not required nor guaranteed for newly admitted Flex Pathway students, but students must apply in the My Housing Portal to be considered for a space. There is no fee to apply, but cancellation and release fees may apply.

Rooms, Accommodations, Fees and Transportation for Flex Pathway Students
Flex Pathway students will be housed together in a building with other first-year students. Rooms will be double occupancy in a traditional-style residence hall without air conditioning.
Flex Pathway students will be housed with other Flex Pathway students. Students can request to room with other Flex Pathway students by entering their information on the Roommate Request page of the housing application.
While we do our best to accommodate as many requests as possible, roommates are not guaranteed for any student and will depend on space availability.
The ability to provide specific housing accommodations will be limited due to the location of this community.Ìý
Students with a medical or dietary circumstance that may impact their housing can request reasonable housing accommodations by submitting additional documentation to the appropriate office.ÌýAccommodation documentation must be submitted within one week of the housing application for consideration.
If the University is unable to meet an approved accommodation, the student will be released from the housing contract.

Meal Plans
The meal planÌýfor Flex Pathway students living on the Newark campusÌýincludesÌý125 swipes, 400ÌýpointsÌýandÌýfiveÌýguest swipesÌýfor the semester.ÌýTo choose a different meal plan, students must select from theÌýÌýdining plans. Students canÌýalsoÌýadd more dining pointsÌýto their meal plan. Eligible students staying during the Winter Session will need to pay an additional dining fee.Ìý
Student Fees
Like Newark campus students, Flex Pathway studentsÌýwillÌýbe requiredÌýto pay on-campusÌýfeesÌýin orderÌýtoÌýhave access to Student Wellbeing services and the University StudentÌýCenters so they can take part in the many events and student organizations available on campus.
Students living on the Newark campus are responsible for arranging transportation to Delaware Technical Community College (DTCC) campuses.ÌýThey can buy a parking permit for Newark campus, but parking at DTCC campuses will be a separate cost.
Students can also take the from the Newark Transit Hub to the DTCC Wilmington campus. With their 91Ô´´ID, students can ride for the .
Basic Application for Flex Pathway Students
Completing the basic application in the Apply for Housing section of the is required of all applicants.
Housing assignments will be sent to 91Ô´´ email addresses.

- Electronically sign the housing contract (if under 18, parent/legal guardian must sign).
- Agree to the cancellation fee policy.
- Your application is valid! Receive confirmation email.
- Confirm demographic information.
- Provide optional identity details.
- Get instructions to submit housing accommodations, if needed.
- Answer lifestyle questions.
- List a requested roommate, if you have one.
- Submit the basic application and learn about next steps.
