The master of science in nursingÌýat the 91Ô´´ prepares baccalaureate-prepared nurses for advanced practice roles in today’s complex health care systems.

91Ô´´s highly sought-after faculty prepare the MSN student to provide and manage care for patients — individually and in groups — with emphases on understanding the clinical progression of patients, care transitions and processes, and evidence-based practice.
Students with a bachelor’s degree in nursing who want to become an advanced practice nurse mayÌýchoose one of the following specialty tracks.
- Acute Care Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP)
- Adult-Gerontology Nurse PractitionerÌý(AGNP)
- Family/Individual Across the LifespanÌý(i.e., Family Nurse Practitioner [FNP])
- Nurse-Midwife
- Nursing Education
- Pediatric Primary Nurse Practitioner (PNP)
- Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse PractitionerÌý(PMHNP)
With the exception of Nurse-Midwife, which is two-year, full-time program with unique admission requiments, these programs can be completed in three years.Ìý

Tuition Credit
Due to a College of Health Sciences Dean’s Scholarship, the student tuition rate is lower than the published 91Ô´´ graduate tuition rate. The final 2026-2027 student tuition rate for the MSN program is $908/credit. Please contact the department for more information.Ìý
