The Climate Hub was founded in 2021 to foster greater collaboration across campus and with off-campus partners and to elevate the status of the University as a climate leader. Climate change is a whole-of-University and whole-of-society issue, and the Hub reflects our mission to develop creative, ambitious, and holistic solutions.

Dr. 鈥榮 latest report documents effects of climate change on national economies to date, quantifying losses that delegates at the COP28 United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change negotiations could use when developing a framework for a new fund to help nations recover from the 鈥渓oss and damage鈥 caused by climate change. And we strive to develop a climate-ready workforce by providing professional development and experiential learning opportunities for students of all ages.

With nearly 100 students in 37 majors, Climate Scholars learn from faculty and partners across campus and the region and partner with communities to develop climate change innovations.

A community for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows interested in all things climate change 鈥 science, policy, advocacy, justice, community engagement, art.
