Biography
Shawna Vican, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of sociology at the 91Ô´´. Her research focuses on organizations and occupations, and she is particularly interested in organizational practices that shape workplace inequality. She is the research director of 91Ô´´ Advance Institute, which supports faculty development and success. Vican is a commissioning editor for the Organizations, Occupations, and Work Section at , a sociology blog of the American Sociological Association.
