This dynamic and rigorous program offers an immersive experience in technical dance training, choreography, and dance studies, grounded in both fine and liberal arts. Students explore dance as an embodied practice, engaging in performance, creative research, and scholarship rooted in historical, cultural, and social contexts. With an emphasis on interdisciplinary exploration and scholarly inquiry, the program creates space for students to double major or add a minor(s). Studying dance, while making connections to other areas of study prepares students for a wide range of careers in dance, the arts, and related fields鈥攐r for continued study at the graduate level.聽
