About this program

The master of science in medical laboratory science program听gives students hands-on, in-depth professional skills and leadership competencies, preparing them to succeed in the increasingly clinical laboratory sciences sector. Students gain defined 鈥渂ench-focused鈥� technical competencies, and are trained in the regulatory and fiscal affairs that impact laboratory management. Our graduates are prepared to perform clinical laboratory testing and to complete the national certification examination in medical laboratory science (ASCP).听

Accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science (NAACLS), the program听is not intended for those who are already certified medical technologists or who have completed a bachelor鈥檚 degree in MLS.听
