About this program

The purpose of the M.A. in languages, literatures, cultures and pedagogy is to provide students with the opportunity for professional growth in the areas of language proficiency, in-depth understanding of literature, civilization and culture, and research and teaching skills. The degree affords students the opportunity to continue their foreign language study at the graduate level with the option of working toward teacher certification.

This flexible master鈥檚 degree program has three options:

  • a single major plan (30 credits)
  • a major minor plan (36 credits)
