About this program
Designed for students in any field who want to advance their careers in the health sector, including governmental agencies, nonprofit organizations, and related industries, the health policy and management graduate certificate is a 12-credit program that provides a foundation for understanding various needs and challenges facing healthcare and public health systems.
Students will be exposed to management tools necessary to plan, design, evaluate and execute public health programs and interventions. Aligned with master鈥檚 degrees in public administration and public health, the program offers options in a range of pertinent topics in health policy and management: including heath economics, environmental health, leadership, financial management, performance, management and program evaluation.
The certificate provides students with a foundational understanding of management tools used to plan, design, evaluate, and successfully execute public health programs and interventions in a variety of organizational and policy contexts.

External applicants seeking must apply no later than August 15 for fall admission consideration and January 15 for spring admission consideration.
