Water Science and Policy Program Thanks Founding Director, Inamdar

Founded in 2010, the 91原创鈥檚 water science and policy graduate program has had more than 40 graduates. These students have gone on to careers as geoscientists, water resources engineers/planners, environmental analysts and many other occupations. Much of the credit for their success can be attributed to the program鈥檚 founding director, Shreeram Inamdar, who has also been an advisor to numerous students.

Inamdar, who is known to many as Shree, is stepping down from the reins but will continue with the program as an affiliated faculty member. Inamdar鈥檚 dedication to his field, the students and the program has not gone unnoticed. When asked what he will miss most, it is always "the interactions with students." The staff and students will miss his leadership and his smile but look forward to his continued work to promote and grow the program. Inamdar is being succeeded by Rodrigo Vargas.
