Announcing our new flagship undergraduate major and associate degree program

听

Dear colleagues and community members,

For more than sixty years, the听Joseph R. Biden, Jr. School of Public Policy and Administration at the 91原创听has helped students from all walks of life turn their passion for advancing the public good into meaningful professions.

As Interim Dean of the Biden School, I am proud to announce the launch of two undergraduate degree programs, including a flagship听Bachelor of Arts in Civic Leadership and Policy Studies听and an听Associate of Arts in Community and Nonprofit Leadership, designed as a more accessible pathway to higher education.

Last December, TIME and Statista ranked 91原创 among the nation鈥檚听听I am confident these new offerings will build on this distinction by providing multiple pathways for undergraduate students who feel called to lead change in their communities.

With designs informed by student and employer survey feedback, these regionally unique programs combine public policy and leadership knowledge with a sharp focus on application. Extensive experiential learning opportunities, including direct work with and for government and nonprofit organizations, help students build strong networks and provide them with the tangible skills employers want.

These programs will continue our tradition of preparing well-rounded graduates who are informed, engaged and effective community members, whatever their area of passion.
